  • CHECK IN
    • Is it really you? A valid photo ID matching the name on the reservation is required upon check-in. • All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and you'll need a valid credit card to guarantee the room. • Our room rates are always best when booked direct, and they are subject to change. • Group trips are fun and we love to host! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind- two people max for rooms with a single bed (Queen or King) and four people max for rooms with multiple beds.​
  • CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
    • Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the guest's arrival date. • Cancellations within 24 hours of check-in and no-shows will be charged for the full price of the reservation. • No-shows with a multiple-night booking will forfeit the entire reservation if we have not heard from the guest by 11 a.m. on the day following their scheduled arrival date. In this case, the guest will be charged for the first and second night of the reservation per our 24-hour cancellation policy. • Reservations totaling over $1000 require 72 hour cancellation notice. In this case, the guest will be charged for the first, second and third nights of the reservation. Any deposit is non-refundable. • No refunds will be given.
  • ROOMS, MAIL, & SMOKING
    • We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. • We allow all guests to receive mail, packages, and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. • Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for call quiet time (or sleep time). This is subject to change based on special events and will be adequately posted for such times. • Breathe easy. The Heinsman Guest House is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $250 room cleaning fee.
  • PETS
    • Are we pet friendly? You bet! Dogs, quiet birds, and goldfish are welcome. A maximum of two pets are allowed per room. Make sure your furry friends do their business outside the building and stay on a leash when outside the room. No rogue poopers! Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time. • A non-refundable pet fee for even the quietest of boys is $50. Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, an additional cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file (or requested through the portal) in the amount of $50-250. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. • We reserve the right to request pets be removed from the property should they interrupt another guests stay, they become aggressive to other people or animals, or at the discretion of management. • As per ADA law, service animals are welcome at no cost. Service animals are defined as "individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities" and "must be under the control of it's handler". Emotional support animals do not fall under ADA law and are subject to pet fees. All guests are subject to any damage fees, should they occur by animal or human.
  • LINENS
    • For guests staying longer than 7 days, we are happy change sheets and towels on the 7th, 14th, and 21st day of your reservation. • Staying less than 7 days? Let us know if you need additional linens or if any mishaps need attention. • Staying longer than a month? We want your space to be yours. A towel and linen exchange is available upon request.
  • CLEANUP
    • You've got mates! While we do have facilities housekeeping, please be courteous of the other guests and clean up after yourself in the kitchen, bathrooms, and all common areas. • Remember to clear out your food and leftovers from the refrigerator before you leave. • While daily room housekeeping is not currently available, if you are in need, please reach out and we will be happy to help! We are happy to help with any large or small oopsies!
  • PRIVACY & SECURITY
    • We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. • Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
